A Quanda is a name of American origin meaning Slender Young Tree and is sometimes used as a baby name for girls.
For us, Quanda is sleek 1985 sloop rigged C&C 27 MkV which we have been sailing up and down the St-Lawrence river, the Thousand Islands and eastern Lake Ontario. She is originally from Halifax where she spent some time teaching young mariners the fine art of racing. Although she does race in our friendly Friday night series, the only time she really gets tested is when chasing a Mirage 24 names Ariel or keeping Siempre the Catalina 30 at bay across the forty acres.
